Don't lie to itself

JGL: As she said, I’m here tonight to present the Hollywood Actress Award to Marion Cotillard.  I adore this woman. She’s a dear friend, so I figured rather than say a few words about her, I would say a few words to her.

JGL: Miss Cotillard. You’re one of the most extraordinary actresses in the world.  You were brilliant in your Oscar-winning role in “La Vie en Rose”. It’s not surprising that you’ve worked with some of the great directors: Woody Allen, Steven Soderbergh, Michael Mann, and of course, Christopher Nolan. Your performance in “De Rouille et D’os”, in English, “Rust and Bone”, is probably your best. Marion Cotillard!

Marion: *strong French accent* Thank you very much, Joe. For these beautiful words. [x

“Success is not important to me, nor are power or money. If the script feels good, then I’m in. It’s that simple.”
